"Turn" (
Summary[]
Ashito Aoi successfully executes a crucial play by switching the field with a Kuribayashi-inspired pass, leading to an assist from Eisaku Ōtomo and Ashito scoring the first goal against Kurume Daiichi High. The bench and Coach Tatsuya Fukuda praise Ashito’s growing understanding of game mechanics and his ability to envision plays. However, Fukuda acknowledges the pass was partly luck and hints at a significant revelation for Ashito. After the match ends in a 3-0 victory, Ashito meets Fukuda, expecting a promotion to Team A. Instead, Fukuda proposes that Ashito transition to a fullback position, citing his potential to reach the global stage in that role. Stunned by the unexpected turn, Ashito struggles to process Fukuda’s decision and its implications for his soccer career.
Synopsis[]

As Ōtomo moves towards the touchline drawing all the Daiichi players, he sees Ashito moving and crosses the ball for Ashito to hammer it in.
As Ashito Aoi barrels up the field with the ball, he reflects on Coach Nozomi Date's words on how a pass is just a pass only to score a goal, he see Eisaku Ōtomo completely free on the other side of the field. He emulates Haruhisa Kuribayashi's "Killer Pass," (even though it is just a pass) and switches the field and Ōtomo receives the ball just outside the Kurume Daiichi High's 18-Yard-Box completely unmarked. As the Daiichi High Defenders panic, their goalie tells them to calm down and just kill any potential shooting courses Ōtomo can take and to clear the ball. As the defenders move, Ōtomo realizes he cannot shoot and drives further up the field till he is 1 to 2 yards away from the touchline. As the Daiichi High players are focused on Ōtomo, Ōtomo on the other hand sees Ashito moving. He crosses the ball in front of the Daiichi goal, and Ashito hammers it in for the first goal of the game. (SCORE 1-0) As his teammates rush him to celebrate, Coach Tatsuya Fukuda is pleasantly surprised to see the play.
Even though the bench players are celebrating as well, Keiji Togashi solemnly notes that Ashito is finding more and more ways to score. Coach Fukuda says to Nozomi that the words he said to Ashito about a "pass just being a pass," was wise words and helped Ashito deconstruct the entire process starting from the final touch that will allow a goal. He says that due to this, Ashito envisioned the play after he would send a pass which would allow him to score. Nozomi agrees but says that even though Ashito's pass worked, it was just a fluke that it went to the right spot. As Fukuda once again compliments Ashito from the bench for the goal and how he materialized it, he mysteriously says to Nozomi to tell Ashito to come the clubhouse as he will tell him the news himself.

Fukuda congratulates Ashito for his tremendous performance in the match against Kurume High but he will not promote Ashito to Team A. He tells Ashito to convert to a Fullback which shakes Ashito to his very core and causes him to stand in shock.
The scene then cuts to a long time after the match, Ashito enters the clubhouse to meet Fukuda and awaits for his meeting. Fukuda congratulates Ashito for his teams win on Kurume Daiichi High by a score of 3-0 and further emphasizes that Ashito scored a goal and as assist and saying that his performance in the previous match against Seikyō High allowed his team to gain momentum. Ashito thanks Fukuda for the praise citing Fukuda himself to be the main reason for Ashito's improvement and requests for Fukuda to promote him to Team A and even though he may not be able to compare to Yūma, he will improve. Fukuda says that even though Ashito played incredibly well, he will not promote Ashito to Team A but he wants Ashito to become a defender, a fullback to be more precise. He says that ever since he saw Ashito in Futami, he saw the pontential in Ashito to reach the world's stage as a FullBack. He knows Ashito will have tons of questions so he tells him to ask them all. However, Ashito's entire world has been shaken to its entire core as he doesn't know how to react and stands in shock in front of Fukuda.
