Roan Mino (美濃 ロアン; Roan Mino) is a supporting character in Ao Ashi. Roan is a 1st year, and he plays as a forward in Tokyo City Esperion FC's youth team. He is the brother of Osieck Mino, who plays in the same team but is one year older than Roan.

Roan is first introduced by Kanpei Kuroda to the new players in Esperion's Youth team: Ashito Aoi, Eisaku Otomo and Soichiro Tachibana. In the first practice day, he participates in training match between first-year players. He ends up in the same team as Kengo Myojin, Jun Asari-Marchs, Yui Masuko, Ryuichi Takeshima, Otomo and Tachibana. The best players in that match will be promoted to the A-team. Only Yūma Motoki gets promoted.
Some days later, Roan participates in a training match 4 vs 4, in which he teams up with Itsuki Nagano, Shuto Kuwata and Yoshihide Nakagawa against Ashito, Asari, Keiji Togashi and Taira Nakamura.
Roan is chosen as reserve player against Seikyo High School. He does not play that match, but he is seen celebrating with the team afterwards. He is not chosen as a reserve player against Kurume Daiichi either.
He participated in the joint training between team A and team B as part of team B-2, together with Myojin, Masuko, Togashi, Ashito, Otomo, Takumu Numazu and Tachibana.
After Ashito's switch to full-back, Roan started to play as a regular in Esperion's Youth B-team. In particular, he played against Tama Sports.
Roan participated in the extra training organized by Soichiro Tachibana and Ryuichi Takeshima. The goal of this training was to practice the strategy Nozomi Date wanted to use against Musashino Youth: direct football. He was chosen as a starter in that match. In the first minutes of the match, Roan captured a long ball from Takeshima and shot to the goal but he missed the shot. After Musashino's first goal, he tried to head a cross from Ashito but the goalkeeper Nikaidou catched the ball first. At the end of the match, Roan assisted Tachibana's second goal, for a final result of 4-2 for Esperion's Youth B-team.
Roan participated in the extra training that was carried out by first-year players in the Esperion's Youth team during the nights.
