"How to Spend a Day Off (Part 2)" (
Summary[]
The chapter begins with Hana Ichijō dismissing unwanted attention from two strangers as Ashito Aoi returns with ice cream for her. After some banter about diet and Hana’s interest in sports medicine, their conversation shifts to the advantages of high schools affiliated with J-Clubs, particularly the benefits Esperion FC provides its Youth Team players. Hana’s dream of becoming an athlete surgeon impresses Ashito but is cut short by his own worries about proving himself. When Hana urges him to rest on his day off, Ashito, fixated on training, responds harshly. His words hurt Hana, who leaves in tears after delivering a retaliatory kick. Eisaku Ōtomo, who had been trailing them, arrives to remind Ashito of the importance of understanding others’ feelings—a lesson he failed to learn from the recent 11v21 match.
Synopsis[]

Hana and Ashito enjoy a conversation about Hana's dreams and Ashito's fortune of coming to Esperion after Hana showed Ashito the path to their High School.
The Chapter begins with Hana Ichijō, alone, being approached by two people who call her cute and ask her to hang out with them. She yawns directly in their face and Ashito Aoi walks back to Hana carrying an ice cream cone for her. As Hana thanks Ashito for saving her from those two people, she says that more and more people have been doing that to her and it has become quite annoying. She then notices that Ashito doesn't have an ice cream and upon inquiry, he says that he would rather pass on it since he doesn't eat it. Hana congratulates Ashito for taking such care of his diet as an athlete. She tells a story about Arthur Antunes Coimbra a.k.a Zico wgi was furious about how when he came to coach the Japanese team, most of the players at snacks all the time. He would confisticate the snacks and give them to his dog but his dog became really fat. As she laughs, Ashito asks Hana if she wants to be a nutritionist later in life. Hana says that she would rather be a surgeon for athletes like Doctor Frank Jobe. She says that to become like him, she has been taking English lessons every day. Even though Ashito says that he is surprised by Hana's dream, he is still preoccupied in thinking about Coach Nozomi Date's goal for Ashito to understand why Jun Marchs Asari and Kanpei Kuroda are mad at him. He realizes that if he doesn't improve soon, he won'tt be able to make it onto the starting lineup.
Later on in their conversation, Hana then tells Ashito then that since there is a steady growth of high schools that are affiliated with J-Clubs like Esperion FC, the students in the J-Youth program receive a scholarship to attend the High School as well as having their entrance exam waived. She goes on to explain that these High Schools also have the ability to employ retired pros and high quality instructors for the school's football team. The High School also goes out of their way to make sure their events and curriculum aren't affecting the J-Youth club members unlike a normal High School. She concludes her explanation by saying that kids who join these clubs also get 80% scholarship for attending the school. Ashito says that he knows about the scholarship as his Mom explained it to him but he still doesn't want to feel like a burden on her. He then says that he is very thankful for Esperion for all that they did for him so far. Hana says that this isn't even the most a Club can do and says that Junventus FC, also has a High School on their Main Grounds as well.

Ashito says that if Hana keeps up talking to him, she will be needlessly meddling. He stops and realizes he may have said too much as Hana tears up in front of him
Ashito realizes that he should be training since he now knows the path to the school. As he starts to run back to the Clubhouse, Hana stops him and says that rest days should be for resting and that if he keeps pushing himself so hard, eventually the quality of his practice will also drop. She says that there is a pretty look in his eyes but occasionally she sees a dark glimmer. Ashito says that she is crazy for talking like this even though they barely know each other. Hana says that she is worried for Ashito since he reminds her of her favorite player. Ashito says that she keeps going on and on about this favorite player and he says that Hana should stop making meal plans for him. He says that if such a pretty girl like Hana spends so much time with him, he might get the wrong idea. Ashito continues on and says that all he wanted to do was practice and since he only has 3 years on this Youth Team, every day is a battle and if Hana keeps doing this for him, it will just be needless meddling. Ashito suddenly stops and realizes that he may have said too much as Hana begins to tear up in front of him. Hana walks a short distance away but then charges at Ashito and then jump kicks him in the face with both her legs. Hana furiously pedals away as Eisaku Ōtomo, who has been trailing Hana and Ashito, walks up to Ashito and laughs at him. He says that Ashito should laerns to understand other's feelings and that he realized this since Yesterday's 11v21 match.
